A traditional evening celebrating the great Scottish poet Robbie Burns began in style with the master and wardens piped into the lodge room.
A quick dispatch of lodge business and the matter of entertaining the guests including the provincial wardens began.
The Artists Club laid on a fabulous spread, including rack of lamb, Scottish broth, haggis and the famous Artist Club Eccles cake.
Adjourning between courses for a display of authentic scottish sword dancing, the evening proved a great success and an excellent foundation for future events planned in 2010.
