5302 – Woodend Lodge

onsecrated on the 30th September 1931, this healthy and vibrant Lodge meets at the Masonic Hall in Hope Street on the third Friday of the month from September through to April, excluding December. It is a strong belief that the Lodge was named after the ‘Standard Triumph’ factory in Woodend Avenue Speke, at which many of the founding and original brethren were then employed, although this has never been verified.

The membership is made up of a diverse group of men from the uniformed armed services, the chemical and printing industry, the uniformed security services and the retail and customer supply industry. Woodend Lodge, renowned for it’s friendly  atmosphere is happy to welcome visitors from the West Lancashire and other Provinces.
